But here’s the other truth about grad school: I’m beyond thankful that I stuck through it. There’s something extremely gratifying to know that through all the curve balls, ridiculous situations, and sleep deprived years, we did it. And that’s the truth: WE did it. I couldn’t have done any of it without my partners-in-crime—Kelsey and Rachel, and my first friend in Iowa—Frankie. (And a year later, Sammy to join the party!)
So to those nights of endless tears, laughing fits, dance parties, road trips, ice cream and froyo trips, musical obsessions, bitch sessions, coffee dates, Mondo and Vine dinners, Dunkin runs, baking parties, tupperware margaritas and everything else that has truly been grad school, thank you. To the people that have forever changed who I am as a person, thank you for being my family.
